Faceless Mask

Under my skin, inside me
Is a broken, barren land
A stranger watched silently
Trying hard to understand

Every place I've ever been
All the faces I have seen
Failed to see under the lie
The truth is mine until I die!

Locked up and hidden away
You can't read my thoughts
Am I the same everyday?
The truth is I'm not

Everything you thought you knew about me
Has turned right upside down around me
I'll fall to pieces, behind you
But I'm back again when you turn around
And I can't find myself caring
About this faceless mask I'm wearing
