Hand in Hand
Posted on 05 Nov 2010 under Random
Come, take my hand or give me yours. Allow me the pleasure of walking with you, arm in arm, under the soft night sky, littered with the glittering diamonds of stars. At midnight, when the world is still, let us talk in hushed whispers, conspiring to enjoy these moments, to enjoy each other’s company while we’re here. Magic emanates from the lights hung in the balconies, from the moonlight reflected off the leaves. Time stands still, betrayed only by the sneaking of the moon across the sky. The night breeze sighs and the shadows echo your mirthful laughter. Be mine, if only for a while, if only for the night. Come, take my hand or give me yours, tonight.
Be mine, if only for a while, if only for the night. Come, take my hand or give me yours, tonight.
So beautiful, it breaks my heart. <3^inf.

This is really, really very nice.
Very well-written and very evocative.
Reminded me of one Robbie Williams song that I’m not ashamed of liking.
But, not to steal your thunder. This is very beautiful.
Poetic! Very Good!

Wow I like this poem….
It looks that she begging with his love ones to be there with her that night. But it comes up in my mind that there has a great import regarding this poem I don’t know if someone takes my point….
Best poetry
But this is the excellent one
THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
I love this poem
