On Music, Again.
Posted on 28 Sep 2009 under Random, XLRI
I’ve already written in previous articles about how my decision to bring my speakers from home to XLRI has been a good one. I play music almost all the time now, and it sounds great. But every now and then, I feel like pulling out my trusty noise-isolating earphones from the drawer in the study desk and plugging them in. Not because the speakers aren’t good, but just because I like the feeling of being “closer” to my music. That probably doesn’t make much sense, but try it once. Don’t use your earphones for a few days, just use your speakers, and then connect your earphones for a short while.
There’s something awesome about earphones, knowing that it’s just you and your music, and everything and everyone else is somewhere far away, out of sight and out of mind. All you have to do is to close your eyes (if you want to), and lose yourself in the melodies.
Just a little blurb I thought I’d share.
