I've also noticed that most musicians' profiles on MySpace aren't too shabby or cluttered either. However, a lot of musicians use them to keep fans updated with upcoming shows, etc. I do like using it to find new music and keeping posted with my favorite musicians. To quite an extent they are annoying, but on the other hand, we use Facebook very effectively to communicate about upcoming evects. For example, our clubs, our honor society, the senior class president all use these to tell us about events, or certain things we have to complete. All it has are invitations to join different kinds of weirdo communities. i have more than 2000 unread messages in my orkut inbox right now. my facebook account was deleted due to some mysterious reason, and honestly, i don't care.
