Everything changes, but not quite.

Nothing is constant except change. Then why is it that I always have the same answers to a lot of the questions people ask me, even though they’ve been asking these questions for months/years now?
- How are you?
I’m fine, as always (alternate: I’m fine, I’m always fine
) - What’s new?
Nothing (alternate : not much )
- How’s college?
Boring (alternate : shitty) - How’s your love life?
What love life? (Alternate : Don’t have one) - How’s that girl in your class you like?
I don’t exactly like her. But she’s fine. (Alternate : She’s fine.)
howz your blog?
fine (alternate: it rocks)
Welcome to life. You can never get away from those types of questions. They are conversation starters basically.
Yes, but I can think of better conversation starters…
1. Would you propose to me if I had 4 legs?
2. If an Indian and a Pakistani were shipwrecked on an abandoned island… would you propose to me?
3. Would you propose to me if your husband died?
4. Will you ever propose to me at all?
1. yes i would.
2. yes i would. fuck the indian and the paki.
3. yes i would.
4. yes i did.
1. No
2. No
3. No
4. No
How are you? That has to be one of the most annoying questions. I mean do people really want to know the answer to that? There is one guy at work that ask that every time he walks by. Not just the first time he sees you that day, but every time that day. It’s like he forgets even asking. I usually just say ok or not too bad. But, maybe I will respond with a real answer and see if he can communicate in an actual conversation.
Lol, I think I’m going to steal some of your answers. I get those questions a lot and I am never quite sure how to answer them abruptly to avoid further interrogation! The worst question is ‘how are you’ cos most people don’t actually care, yet they ask!
