I’m alive!

Where have I been? Caught up. At 2 places:

1. StoriesMania : This is basically a vBulletin based online community portal where you can share your writing with others and get some good criticism for your writing. The community here is so friendly that this is the first site I’ve been really hooked to after Frihost. Check it out.
2. College : There’s really nothing to say. If you know me at all, you know I spend about 12 hours a day outside the house, and either in or on the way to/from college. A technical paper presentation contest/exhibition was organized yesterday in college. Originally, my H.O.D wanted me to anchor the validatory function and prize distribution ceremony in the afternoon. I had a CAT class in the evening, and so I opted out. I did, however, go to college for a couple of hours to help out my replacement anchor and my other friend who was co-anchoring. I ended up doing a lot of work (including writing the speech/presentation for the anchoring in the evening), and stayed the whole day. It was quite satisfying. Had I not worn jeans, I would have done the anchoring myself. The really ironic thing is that in the end, the anchors were presented with mementos for their services! Oh well, as I very often say on this blog… c’est la vie. I admit I did feel a little jealous, but I’m happy for Surya for doing the job well.

On another note, I’ve upgraded the blog to Wordpress 2.3, and also downloaded and updated a lot of plugins for which newer versions were not only available, but necessary.
