In Kenya : Last Day

Posted on 25 Jun 2007 under Journal/Life Updates

We’re leaving today. Apparently, the departure time is 1750, and we’ll be leaving from home at about 1330 to get to the airport in an hour. After a few problems concerning confirmation of tickets from the Bombay-Hyderabad part of the journey, it looks like things have fallen into place a little bit, and we may get to Hyderabad without major issues. (However, I’m worried about the weather, because I’ve seen in the news here that a few flights have been diverted to other cities due to reduced visibility at Bombay airport… hope the rain goes away and comes again another day for this one day).

The sky is overcast here, and it seems to have gotten much colder here over the last 2-3 days. If it hadn’t been overcast yesterday too, I’d have the cockiness to say that Kenya is sad to see me go, and hence the sky is overcast :P . Ah well, it was a great trip. An entire month has gone by, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed here (even though I spent most of the time just chilling out at home), and if it hadn’t been for college (which starts today incidentally), I would have liked to have stayed here for some time. Oh well, like I said before… c’est la vie.

See you in Hyderabad.

  2. Hope to see you online soon. For all you know if that flight diverts, it diverts to Hyderabad :P.

/me current mood: Depressed - I really am, overly depressed, I don’t feel the mood to do anything now..

  3. Good to see you coming back.

    Now how about those pics?

  4. I’m back… will make a post about the journey later. It was more or less ok-pleasant. And I have some bad news about the pictures… We forgot to make a CD of the pictures we took, so that means that when one of dad’s colleagues is coming from there (within a week, I hear), then I’ll get the CD.

  5. You *forgot* to make the CD or *forgot* to bring the CD?

  6. I forgot to *MAKE* the CD.
