Thought Overflow

Well, here’re some small updates (out of time to write a full-fledged post):

• My guess about most cars being imported is correct. All cars in Kenya are imported at low customs duty.
• The temperature has been around 20 Celsius for these past few days. We got a little bit of rain the last 2-3 days, but nothing torrential, just some light drizzle.
• There were a couple of power cuts. One about 4 days ago, when the current went off in the evening, and one day yesterday when there was no current the whole day (0930 to 1815) (Dad says it must have been for maintenance work)
• We’re going on a safari to Samburu Park tomorrow early morning, and will be back by Sunday evening. Photos will be taken, but I don’t expect them to be available online for some time, as usual.
