I really don't see the point in upgrading to a high-powered PC if you're just going to slow it down with a fat operating system. They are overdoing the so powerfull word "WOW" and making it loose its value. And as far as my Vista stint is concerened, wont do it until I get it installed on a few of my friends PCs or better use the Corporate mantra <em>Wait till SP1</em>, which as it is expected by Novemeber, and hopefully by then I will have a NEW RIG.
