Rat Race

Where have those days gone? I used to walk to the window at 7pm, and watch the dark evening sky smile back at me when I smiled at it. The wind was nice and cool, the mind was calm, and music was so much more simpler. Now, the only time I see the 7pm sky is when I’m making my way back from college (generally… sometimes, I’m already inside the house, but too busy eating or changing/freshening up to smile at the sky). And then sit and have to think about the things that need to be done for tomorrow.
I guess it’s finally here… leisure’s gone, responsibility has taken its place. Welcome to the corporate world… welcome to the rat race.

It’s once we join this rat race we miss the freedom of childhood. Work hard, and you’ll be able to play hard too.
It’s ironic… how when we’re younger, we wait till we’re older, and now that we’re older, we rue the fact that we can’t grow younger.

And the weird monster-type image you are seeing is a new plugin I installed. It generates a random monster based on your e-mail address. So, while everyone gets a different monster, your monster will remain the same for all your comments.
I’m just trying to position it perfectly though
