(Smile)ys
Posted on 12 Dec 2006 under Site Designing
Hello again, boys, girls and other random creatures that read my blog (
). I’ve got more exciting news for you!
I’ve installed (yet more) new plugins! You’ll notice them when you leave comments. Enjoy the smileys.
I took quite some time to import the Yahoo Smileys into this plugin, and it took a bit of support from the plugin author- LordMontie. (OK, well, his real name is Thomas Montague… you’d see that anyway if you download his plugins :P). This chap is pretty amazing. He even let me email him (and mailed back) for a little help I needed with a couple of small issues in installing and using the plugins.
So, yeah, the plugins then:
Basically, I’ve installed 2 of them:
PS: By the way, I don’t recommend using any smileys apart from the Yahoo Smileys or the default Wordpress Smileys… too many smileys are… well, too much of anything is not good
By the way, I’ve tried to put in every single code that works in Yahoo Messenger for the Yahoo smileys.
PPS: Yes, I know… I’m talking a backup of my database the moment I finish entering this post :smug:

I need to get the quicktag plug-in. It’s a pretty good feature.
Looks good.

Just checking em out.
Question.. did you install the thunderbird smileys or they came with it?
I only installed the Yahoo smileys. The other 3 came by default.
The “: P” smiley looked like someone holding a flower or pouting her lilps to me o.O.
remember my introduction topic of when i first joined your forums? :rolleyes_tb:
also ad the smiles that you can add onto smf.
No more smileys are going to be added.. In fact, I’m going to reduce some.
And the “: P” smiley works fine…
