I was just messing around when I noticed it. If you haven't changed any actual plugin files, then the filters code for IE is already present... your ratings should work fine on IE. Because I think many CSS updates have been made to IE7. And by the stats you are showing the amount of IE visitors are negligible and can be ignored.
