XHTML Compliance.

One of the things I decided on while making the website is that I’m going to keep it XHTML compliant. So the (very) basic template I’m currently testing (view previous post) is XHTML 1.0 Strict compliant, as well as CSS compliant. I also want to use those fancy “XHTML 1.0 compliant” buttons on my blog, so I’m validating that too. I found a better theme than my old one (which was beginning to look too sterile/bland). I may yet change this theme a little bit (I know for sure I’ll be changing the footer… maybe even the header image… but that’s only after I like a layout for the main site), but until then, it’s fine. So I set about validating it… there weren’t many errors, so it didn’t take much time, and now you can click on the XHTML Valid or CSS Valid button from any page on the site, and it’ll show you that the site passes these validations. Yay.
By the way, I highly encourage you to click on the XHTML Valid button on any blog you visit, and you will most likely find that the page in question actually does not pass the validation! Go ahead, call their bluff.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t get my site to verify as xhtml compliant because of my Google Analytics tracker script… any suggestions?
