Hi Srinivasa,
I'll fix up the typo right away, thanks for noticing it.

As for the anti-Telugu feelings you perceive, really, there is no such thing. I don't much like Telugu music, though, and I'm just being honest about that fact. At the same time, I could mention that I don't much like Hindi music either, but I dislike the "mass" kind of Telugu music a tad bit more than Hindi music. (And also, that particular day in the bus, it was Telugu music that welcomed me, not Hindi :) )

I apologize if I made it appear as if I harbour negative feelings towards any particular community, because I don't really. I was just being honest there, and if you read some of my other posts, you will notice that I really have nothing against any one community in particular. I try to be as objective with my opinions as I can. Nevertheless, thank you for bringing it up.

Hi Gurdit,
It felt good to go through your blog. Period.

But there were a few typos i.e "my levels of preparation".
It should have been "the levels of my preparation".
Secondly, you seem to harbor a few negative feelings towards the Telugu community. Is there a specific reason for that tirade which we had to go through in your blog? Blogging is a joyous experience, please do not corrupt it!
Regards
and take care.

[...] Remember my last ranty post about having to bear bad music? Well, imagine a similar scenario, except that now it’s right outside my house! So I’m inside my house, calmly playing Civilization IV on my PC while listening to songs that repeated say “Dumma Re Dumma Re Dumma Dumma Dum Dum” (yes, that’s the chorus of a real Telugu song. Gimme a couple of days and I’ll update this post with the name of the movie it’s from), and “Ninne Ninne Ninne Ninne Ninne” (Yes, that’s the chorus of another Telugu song. I’ll try to find out the name of that movie for you too). Oh well… To all those of you who prefer not to complain and just enjoy the festival as/how you can, Happy Sankranti.
Interesting... people do read my blog after all, huh?

@Sahil, welcome to India, mate... welcome to India. Anyway, something happened in the bus today... We played Puddle Of Mudd for a few minutes at a volume loud enough for us to be able to hear it where I was sitting. Well, the TDP at the back (TDP actually stands for Telugu Desam Party, a local party that aims to appease the local telugu population... but we call the guys who sit at the back the TDP gang because their entire lives seem to revolve around their telugu... they don't like the western culture unless it's in the telugu movies, and they don't... well, just read the next blog entry ;) )

@Mythili, thanks for the "compliment"... how did you know I have a blog?

I read your blog. :D. PRetty good one 2.
To be honest, that's something different here in US. I mean they really can't make you dress a certain way in college. Even school there are rules but no one enforces them. OBviously extreme nudity isnt allowed, not because of college/school rules, but because of the law.
I mean you have the right to what you wear. You are over 18 and your an adult. The law gives you the right to do whatever you want to without breaking the law. Take that and shove it in their faces. :D
And the same thing goes for the music, your being made to listen to that music, violating your rights so badly.
But i guess they dont listen. So Good luck with that. And all the best for the tests.
